Berlin-based DJ and producer Shabi has deep roots in music. Drawn to rhythm and groove from a young age, his journey began as a jazz and funk guitarist before diving headfirst into electronic music. That foundation shines through his sound, a rich blend of deep house, disco, garage and funk, all wrapped in jazz-inspired musicality and melodic depth.
Shaped by Berlin’s diverse nightlife, Shabi has developed a signature, groove-forward style that feels both nostalgic and fresh. From intimate bars to buzzing clubs, his sets balance laid-back warmth with high-energy rollers, always built to move bodies.
As a producer, Shabi has earned support from heavyweights such as Glenn Underground, Jovonn, Kevin Yost, Piem, Brian Tappert, Michael Gray and more. His releases on labels like Tropical Disco Records, @grooveculturem , Large Music have made a strong impact on dancefloors worldwide. In 2025, he was also ranked 47 Top Artist on @traxsource , further cementing his place in the scene.
